There’s nothing like the holiday season to make you want to spruce up your makeup collection, to help get you in the spirit, and also give you a nice confidence boost for all those upcoming holiday parties on your calendar. When it comes to makeup gift sets, I usually go for the smaller ones. Big sets usually have a ton of colors that don’t really work on my skin tone, and I never end up using everything! Now I do love all the products listed above, but one of my favorite holiday gift sets (that I buy from Sephora every year) is their Lash Stash Gift Box! Considering the price of just one regular sized mascara from Sephora, the Lash Stash Box is super affordable and the box literally lasts me all year. The mini sizes are perfect for travel too!

A second favorite of mine are the Tarte Lip Gloss Sets. I haven’t tried this exact one yet, but I have bought their lip sets in the past and they have the best shades of color; pretty much all of them work with my skin tone. And again, I love the lip gloss mini’s because it takes me forever to use a regular size lip anything and I love the variety!

And third, if you’re wanting to get a little color for an upcoming holiday party St. Tropez self tanner is THE ABSOLUTE BEST! It gives the best color (never orangey) and it lasts a good while too. The mousse formula is easy to apply, but it will make your hands real dark, so be sure to use the application mitt!
